Wees stil, mijn ziel, tot God uw Heer,
Hij immers schenkt u altijd weer
zijn heil, -op Hem toch kunt gij bouwen.
Wankel dan niet, want Hij staat vast,
Hij is, ook als het onheil wast,
uw rots, uw enige vertrouwen.
Seek rest, my soul, in the Lord God, for all my hope is found in him. He is my rock and my salvation. I rest secure in his fortress. My life depends on God alone: He is my rock, he is my refuge.
