En gij, ontrouwe dwazen,
die lijdt door eigen schuld,
wordt de bazuin geblazen
aan 't eind van Gods geduld,
dan schreeuwt gij tot den Heer,
dat Hij u zal genezen
en dat zijn woord u weer
ten levenslicht zal wezen.

And ye unfaithful fools, who suffer through their own fault, when the trumpet is blown at the end of God's patience, then you shall cry unto the Lord, that He will heal you and that his word to you again will come to life.
